ÞTHREK

Terms of use

in force since August 2026

Threk is in closed testing. This text describes faithfully what the service does today, but it was not drafted by a lawyer and will be reviewed before opening to the public.

What Threk is

Threk collects well-known fitness challenges, lets you attempt them and puts the result on a worldwide leaderboard. Whoever stops before the end ranks exactly like whoever finishes: that is the principle the service is built on, not a concession.

Threk is not affiliated with or sponsored by the organisations that made these protocols known. Benchmark names identify the format of the workout, not the origin of the service.

Health and risk

These challenges take you to your physical limit and carry a real risk of injury. They are meant for people who already train. A high volume of reps can cause rhabdomyolysis, muscle damage that reaches the kidneys.

Threk is not a medical service and does not tell you whether you may train. If you have heart, respiratory or joint conditions, talk to a doctor before attempting. Dizziness, nausea, chest pain, blurred vision or dark urine are not signals to push through: stop, and get help if you need it. The attempt still ranks.

You decide whether and when to attempt, and you are responsible for your health during the attempt.

Your account

You need to be at least 16. One account per person. What you declare — the work done in an attempt — must be true: the number you enter is your claim, and a moderator checks it against the video.

The videos you upload

The video stays yours. By uploading it you allow us to show it inside Threk next to your leaderboard row and to have it reviewed by a moderator. You can withdraw that permission at any time by withdrawing the entry: the video is deleted.

Do not upload videos that show other people without their consent, or content you have no rights to.

Moderation

Attempts that reach the top twenty of a challenge are reviewed by a person. An entry can be rejected when the video does not show the execution, when the reps do not meet the standards described on the challenge page, or when the declared work does not match. A rejected entry leaves the public leaderboard but stays in your personal history, with the reason.

We may suspend an account that repeatedly falsifies results or uploads content that is not allowed.

The service is in testing

Threk is in closed testing and is provided as is. There may be interruptions and data loss. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for damages arising from use of the service; nothing written here limits liability that the law does not allow to be excluded, nor the rights you have as a consumer.
