Before using Threk to perform a physical challenge, please read the following information carefully.
Threk provides a platform for voluntarily performing and comparing physical performance benchmarks.
Threk does not provide medical advice, personal training, coaching or physical supervision.
Physical exercise can involve significant risks, particularly when performed at high intensity.
These risks may include exhaustion, dehydration, falls, muscle or joint injuries, cardiovascular events and other serious injury.
You are responsible for deciding whether a challenge is appropriate for you.
If you have a medical condition, injury or other concern that may make strenuous physical activity unsafe for you, you should seek appropriate medical advice before participating.
Stop immediately if you experience:
- chest pain;
- dizziness;
- fainting or near-fainting;
- unusual shortness of breath;
- blurred vision;
- acute joint pain;
- severe weakness; or
- any other concerning symptom.
You may stop a Threk attempt at any time.
Stopping an attempt does not itself constitute a violation of Threk's rules.
Threk does not assess whether you are medically fit to perform a challenge.
By selecting "I Understand and Agree", you confirm that:
- you have read and understood this Safety Acknowledgement;
- you understand that physical activity involves inherent risks;
- you are responsible for deciding whether to participate;
- you understand that Threk does not provide medical supervision or
- personalised training; and
- you understand that you may stop an attempt at any time.
