Content & privacy reporting policy
Threk is in public beta: testers use it on iPhone and Android before it reaches the App Store and Google Play. This text describes what the service does today.
Threk is designed to allow users to record and compare physical performance.
We take privacy, personal image rights and unlawful content seriously.
Reporting a video
If you appear in a Threk video and believe that the video should not contain your image, you may report it without creating a Threk account.
You may also report content that:
- infringes your privacy;
- contains you without appropriate permission;
- appears unlawful;
- infringes your intellectual property rights; or
- violates Threk’s Terms of Use.
How to report
Use the Report function available on the relevant public result page, or contact privacy@threk-app.com.
Please provide:
- the URL or identifier of the relevant result;
- the reason for the report;
- an email address where we can contact you; and
- any additional information that may help us assess the report.
You do not need a Threk account to submit a privacy report.
What happens after a report
Threk will review the report and may:
- remove or restrict access to a video;
- remove a public result page;
- request additional information;
- retain the result while removing the video; or
- determine that no action is required.
Removing a video does not necessarily mean that the underlying performance result will be deleted.
Video evidence and the performance record are separate elements of the Service.
Third-party images
Users are instructed not to intentionally record other people without an appropriate legal basis or consent.
If you have been unintentionally recorded, contact us and we will assess the request.
False or abusive reports
Reports should be made in good faith.
Submitting deliberately false reports or using the reporting mechanism to harass another user may violate Threk’s Terms of Use.
